Editorial Policy

OPXpress produces content about finance, economics, markets and business with an emphasis on analysis and explanation rather than copied news or direct translation of other publishers’ reporting.

Content principles

Published content should add value beyond the source material. This may include:

  • explaining context
  • comparing data
  • connecting causes and effects
  • summarizing the most important points
  • analyzing implications or trends
  • explaining relevant terms or mechanisms

Referring to news, reports or data from an external source does not mean OPXpress endorses every opinion expressed by that source.

Facts and analysis

When a piece contains both facts and analysis, it should be written so readers can distinguish what happened or was reported, what comes from cited sources, and what represents OPXpress interpretation or analysis.

Contested claims, opinions or interpretations should be attributed appropriately.

Accuracy

Before publication, writers and reviewers should verify important details including:

  • names of people and organizations
  • dates
  • figures
  • units
  • currencies
  • rates of change
  • the period to which data refers
  • source URLs or original documents

If information is uncertain, its limitations or current status should be stated clearly.

Editorial independence

Advertising, sponsorship or commercial relationships must not cause factual information or analytical conclusions to be changed for the benefit of an advertiser.

Advertising must not be presented in a way that could cause readers to mistake it for an article source or editorial evidence.

AI and automated tools

OPXpress may use software or AI tools to assist parts of the workflow, including research, structuring, summarization, language review or content preparation.

The use of such tools does not change editorial responsibility. Published content must still pass the OPXpress review process and editorial standards.
